All city offices will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 28, and Friday, Nov. 29, for the Thanksgiving holiday.
Recycling and trash routes for Thursday collection (including yard waste and scheduled bulky pickup) will be collected on Wednesday, Nov. 27. Friday's collection schedule will not be affected by the holiday. City residents needing to schedule bulky, metal, or electronics to be picked up on Friday, Nov. 29, or Monday, Dec. 2, must schedule those services no later than Wednesday, Nov. 27, before 4:30 p.m. Please call 910.341.7875 to schedule a pick-up or to speak with a customer service representative.
Don't forget that all on-street, metered parking in downtown Wilmington will be free Thursday, Nov. 28 through Sunday, Dec. 1 for the Thanksgiving holiday. Happy shopping!
