Parking and Downtown Services oversees the city’s Parking Management enterprise fund, including oversight of on-street metered, on-street time-limited, on-street residential permit, and surface lot . This also includes the city’s parking decks, with nearly 3,000 total spaces, including the Convention Center parking deck and the recently acquired deck adjacent to the new municipal administration building at 929 N. Front St. This division also oversees the Municipal Services District (MSD) for downtown, serves as staff liaison to Wilmington Downtown, Inc., and oversees the management contract and overall operations of the Convention Center.
