Citizens Police Academy

The Wilmington Police Department Citizens Police Academy is a free interactive class that allows members of the public to get a behind-the-scenes look at police work. Courses include SWAT, Crime Scene Investigation, K9, and many more. Our country is in the midst of a national movement, and it's more important than ever that the citizens of Wilmington understand we are here for you. We want to be as transparent as possible when it comes to our policies, training, and the ways in which we're ensuring our officers treat every member of this community equally and fairly.
