Save the Date for TreeFest 2025!

Mark your calendars for TreeFest 2025! 

This will be the 27th TreeFest, held annually at the Independence Mall. Free bare-root tree saplings and grasses will be available to the public while supplies last. TreeFest was originally started in 1997 to restore the local tree canopy after hurricanes Bertha and Fran.

Event Details: 

• Friday, January 17 & Saturday, January 18
• 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., or while supplies last
• Independence Mall, JC Penny wing
