Computers are available in the Human Resources Department, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. We are located at 929 N. Front St. in Wilmington, NC. You may also use the public computers located in many public libraries. Family and friends may also have internet access available for you to use. The most competitive applicants are contacted for an interview. Applicants who are not selected for an interview are notified by email.

No, the City of Wilmington requires a completed application. The employment application has been designed to provide information needed to make employment-related decisions. An applicant may provide a resume as an attachment to the completed application.
As a condition of employment, all persons selected for employment (full-time and part-time positions) are required to pass a drug test. Only certain positions require a physical examination (Police and Fire).
